If you’re in the market for a luxury vehicle, there are a lot of great options to choose from. Two of the top manufacturers in this category are INFINITI and Lexus. Both make high-quality, reliable, and long-lasting vehicles. Here is a comparison of sport luxury coupes from each manufacturer: the INFINITI Q60 vs. the Lexus RC. Take a look at the similarities and differences so you can decide on the right vehicle for your family.

INFINITI Q60 vs. Lexus RC Design

Aesthetic choices like a car’s design come down to a matter of personal taste. Both the Q60 and the RC look and feel different.

Exterior Design

When comparing the INFINITI Q60 vs. Lexus RC, the Lexus has the sportier look. It features a muscular look with bold styling and character lines along the side.

While classified as a sport luxury coupe, the INFINITI has more of a luxury look and feel. Its low, wide stance can be characterized as aggressive, but what makes it stand out is INFINITI’s signature elements, such as its double-arch grille and eye-inspired headlights.

Interior Design

In terms of the interior, both use synthetic leather for seating——the Q60 uses leatherette, while the Lexus has its own version called NuLuxe. With the INFINITI, you can also choose from luxurious accents such as Brushed Aluminum or Matte Black Carbon Fiber trim.

The RC offers a stylish interior, but not a lot of room except for front-seat passengers. Cargo space is also limited. However, you do get a 7.0-inch infotainment display and onboard Wi-Fi, Apple CarPlay, and Amazon Alexa.

The Lexus Q60 offers a luxurious and surprisingly sporty interior, with seats that blend comfort and science. Enjoy concert-quality sound with the Bose Performance Series Audio System, which features 13 speakers. With the built-in Wi-Fi hotspot, you can pair up to seven devices, turning your vehicle into the ultimate entertainment center.

The Q60 features a twin-turbo, 3.0-liter V-6 engine that produces 300 horsepower through a seven-speed automatic transmission. The fuel economy is decent, at 19 mpg city/28 mpg highway.

While the Lexus RC has a sportier look, its performance doesn’t live up to it. Its turbocharged four-cylinder engine produces just 241 horsepower. While its fuel economy of 21 mpg city/31 mpg highway is slightly better than that of the INFINITI, it is still not impressive considering it has fewer cylinders.
